MONDAY
READ: Matthew 15:1-9
PRAYER STARTER: Praise.
Pure praise comes from a heart that is close to God. As you begin to pray sincerely tell God how great and holy and wonderful He is.
TUESDAY
READ: Matthew 15:10-20
PRAYER STARTER: Thanksgiving.
A human heart is wicked; the only thing that truly change it is God's grace. As you begin to pray thank God for changing your heart.
WEDNESDAY
READ: Isaiah 29:13-16
PRAYER STARTER: Commitment
God deserves to be worshipped in a way that pleases Him. As you begin to pray make a commitment to let God direct and guide your worship.
THURSDAY
READ: Psalms 19:1-14
PRAYER STARTER: Petition
Your desire should be to please God with the words of your mouth and the meditation of your heart. As you begin to pray ask God to protect you from your own sinful nature.
FRIDAY
READ: Psalms 51:1-12
PRAYER STARTER: Confession
David wrote this psalm to confess your sin to God. As you begin to pray confess your sins to God and ask Him to create in you a pure heart.
SATURDAY
Read: Joel 2:12-13
PRAYER STARTER: Intercession
The people of God need to return to God with all their heart. As you begin to pray think of some people who have gotten away from the Lord and pray that they will return to Him.
