Each day you will be given a reading assignment. After reading the assigned portion record any observations or questions that come to mind.

PRAYER STARTER

Each Day you will be given a prayer starter. This is designed to help you begin your daily prayer to God.

 

Day 1

Read: Deuteronomy 4:32-40

Prayer starter: COMMITMENT

There is only one God. As you begin to pray make a commitment to the one true God that you will Him this day forward.

 

Day 2

Read: Deuteronomy 6:4-9

Prayer starter: Petition

We are told to love the Lord our God with all that we are. As you begin to pray ask God to give you the wisdom and strength and courage to love Him with your life.

 

Day 3

Read: Psalm 19

Prayer starter: Confession

The psalmist asks God to forgive him of any hidden faults (verse 12). As you begin to pray ask God to forgive you of your secret sins.

 

Day 4

Read: Psalm 104

Prayer starter: Praise

This psalm speaks of God's greatness. As you begin to pray read this psalm aloud as praise to your great God.

 

Day 5

Read: Romans 8:12-17

Prayer starter: Intercession

Anyone can become a child of God just by believing in Jesus Christ. As you begin to pray intercede for someone you know has not yet accepted Jesus as Savior.

 

Day 6

Read: Ephesians 1:3-14

Prayer starter: Thanksgiving

It is God's plan to save people and to bless them with every spiritual blessing. As you begin to pray thank God for all that He has done for you.
